About Jennie.

Jennie Grace James grew up in the Land of Oz (the Kansas part, not the cool part with the witches) reading twenty-ish books a week and writing stories of her own about hidden worlds and the kids who stumbled into them. At the tender age of ten, she wrote an award-winning essay entitled “Why I Love My Library Card”, which was printed in the local paper and is, to date, her sole claim to fame. Her best friends from junior high, still her ride-or-dies, crowned her DJ YA due to her curation of the best party playlists for their annual lake trips and her enduring love of young adult lit.

Jennie obsesses over college basketball, ASMR organization videos, charcuterie boards, and Taylor Swift, and recently started watching football (but only when Tay’s boyfriend is playing). She lives in the Midwest with her golden retriever husband who never wears a shirt and always smells like he just ran ten miles (because he did), their two extraordinary kids, and their one extraordinary dog, Charlie.
